I would reshape the apron a bit if I did it again, but I kinda like it too.
I've had european Christmases and it all makes more sense in a cold climate. We're not religious, so it's just a big family gift giving, eating binge. The hot weather is the perfect excuse not to have to know how to roast a turkey!
I almost included a photo of Santa riding the local country fire truck, giving out lollies and icy poles to the kids. We all drop our presents and run to the front gate when the fire truck siren sounds!Lightning McStitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11955101913822685967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161170775588638867.post-69143010898459742572016-01-02T18:54:33.583+11:002016-01-02T18:54:33.583+11:00Ha ha. Add in that the hat makes you look like a total dork and plenty of alcohol and it's about the funniest thing you can do all summer.
It was one of the Kris Kringle gifts at my work party. The next day we all went out and bought our own!
The buckle would be perfect for kids as well as grandpas!Lightning McStitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11955101913822685967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161170775588638867.post-16075651676754232612016-01-02T14:27:15.894+11:002016-01-02T14:27:15.894+11:00The apron is lovely! I've never celebrated the holiday in a warm climate - ours involved a lot more snow and skis - but your outdoor, garden-party celebration looks like a lot of fun! Happy 2016!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161170775588638867.post-54520194578690238842016-01-02T09:10:48.643+11:002016-01-02T09:10:48.643+11:00Wet head? What is wet head?
